Welcome To Sarawak Marine Department

The Marine Department of Sarawak has existed since the Brooke's family rule in Sarawak. When Sarawak, together with The Federation of Malaya, Sabah and Singapore formed Malaysia in 1963, the name "The Marine Department of Sarawak" was changed to "Jabatan Laut Sarawak". It was put under federal administration under "The Ministry of Transport". On the 31st of January 1995, Jabatan Laut Sarawak has moved to its own complex at Jalan Utama, Tanah Puteh, Kuching, Sarawak. more ... |
